DU Application Form 2018


Students for the admission in UG courses need to have entrance exam attended and check below application information:

  • Online registration will be done by online mode.
  • Since the application form can be available from second week of May 2018.
  • Aspirants can online apply for more than one courses but have to pay separate fee for each courses.
  • Aspirants shall be asked to upload the scanned documents along with passport size photo and signature, self attested copy of caste certificate and 10th passing certificate.
  • Submission of application form will be done after payment of fees online.

UG Admission can be done in 4 streams i.e. Music/Arts/Humanities and Fine Arts, Mathematical Science, Commerce and Sciences under various faculties the merit list will be drawn on qualifying basis exam. Therefore the admission in this courses shall start by filling the DU Admission forms 2018. Also there will be pre-admission form for each courses.

Eligibility Criteria

For UG Courses:

Courses Qualification Eligibility
BMS/B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics/BBA (FIA)
  • Aspirants must have completed 12th exam with 60% marks including four papers i.e. English, Mathematics and other two subjects of elective subjects as approved by the University of Delhi (Relaxation of 55% for SC, ST, CW and PwD categories).
  • Aspirants appearing for improvement in 2018 will be not eligible for admission.
B.Tech (Information technology & Mathematical Innovation)
  • Passed 10 + 2 with Subject Mathematics.
  • Should have Minimum 60% marks in four subjects (included mathematics), Relaxation will be of 54% for OBC and 57% for PwD/ CW category and SC/St with passing marks.
B.A. (Hons.) Humanities & Social Sciences
  • Appearing/ Passed 10+2 exam.
  • Must have minimum marks obtained with criteria applicable as B.Tech (IT & Mathematical Innovation).
Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EL.Ed)
  • Appeared/12th passed with minimum marks obtained 50% marks aggregate.
Health Education & Sports: B.Sc. (P.E., H.E. & S.), Bachelor of Science in Physical Education
  • Appeared/12th passed with at least 45% marks (The aggregate marks will be taken on the basis of one language and three best subjects).
B.A. (Hons.) Multi Media & Mass Communication
  • Appeared/12th passed with 75% aggregate of best four including 85% in English (for general category).
  • This course is only for women candidates.

M.Tech Microwave Electronics
  • M.Sc. Physics or M.Sc. Electronics with specialization in Electronics with 60% marks minimum obtained in exam.
    Or
  • Electronics and Communication/ B.Tech./B.E. Electrical/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics with 60% marks minimum obtained in exam.
M.Sc. Physics
  • Engineering with Physics or any branch of Science or B.Sc in related subjects and Mathematics passed with 60% marks minimum obtained in exam. (50% marks for B.Sc. (Hons.))
M.Com
  • B.A. (Hons.) Or B.Com (Hons.) B.B.S. B.B.A. Or B.Com Or Economics , B.B.E, B.I.F.A., and B.B.A. degree from any recognized institute.
MCA
  • Done from University of Delhi in Bachelor degree (10+2+3 Scheme)  with at least one paper in Mathematical Sciences.
M.A. Political Science
  • Any Degree Or B.A. Degree with minimum marks 50% obtained (Engineering/commerce/Science etc) with minimum marks 60% from the recognized University.
LL.M.
  • LL.B. Degree with minimum 50% marks obtained (Relaxation with 45% marks for ST/SC/OBC category).

Age Criteria:


There is no age limit for admission into postgraduate and undergraduate courses offered under the DU and its colleges except for courses which are required by AICTE, MCI, NCTE, DCI and BCI.

Delhi University Syllabus


The syllabus for the UG courses are completely same as 11th and 12th courses. For PG courses the syllabus is based on graduation level. Candidates are suggested to follow the syllabus mentioned by university.

Delhi University Exam Pattern 2018


While the exam pattern is different for various courses. There is different pattern for each question paper.

  • Negative Marking: Since 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • Mode of Exam: Candidates need to mark their answer in (OMR) sheet.
  • Marking Scheme: For each right answer 4 marks will be given.
  • Subjects: There will be questions will be asked for each courses.
  • Exam Duration: 2 hours duration for examination.
  • Type of Questions: The paper will be objective type.

Delhi University Admit card 2018


  • DU Admit Card 2017 can be downloaded online from official website.
  • Admit card will be available within last week of May 2018.
  • While keep note that admit card will be not given through post.
  • Candidates need to carry one identity proof with them.

Delhi University Answer Key 2018


  • The answer key of PG and UG entrance exam will be available after exam is over.
  • Aspirants can get the answer key from official site of DU.
  • Aspirants can also request OMR sheet by paying Rs.500/- paper.

Delhi University Result 2018


  • Candidates can check the DU Result 2018 for UG and PG entrance examination within July first week 2018.
  • Aspirants will be shortlisted through written test and then will be called for GD/Interview.
  • Merit list will be released as per applicant performance in examination.

Delhi University Cut-Off 2018


The CUt-off for DU Admission shall be announced by Delhi University, Candidates can check the DU Cut off 2018 after the examination is held. While the cut-off list will be uploaded as per based on 12th exam. Those who come under the cut off marks can get admission in DU.

Delhi University Admission 2018
